Chipsets

Chipsets are a set of electronic components in one or more ICs that manage the data flow between the processor, memory, and peripherals, determining how many high-speed components a motherboard can support. For control circuitry, chipsets are the glue that connects the microprocessor to the rest of the motherboard.
